1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address
- Pet information: name, species, breed, date of birth, photos, health records
- Camera (optional): used only when you use in-app features that need it (for example, scanning an insurance card or other documents you choose to capture). We do not access the camera in the background.
- Photos / media (optional): when you choose to add images (e.g. pet photos, documents), subject to system permissions you grant
- Usage data: app interactions, device type, OS version
- Location data: only if you enable the location tracking feature
2. How we use your information
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the PawBesties service
- Sync your data across devices
- Enable Pack sharing features
- Send relevant notifications (with your permission)
- Show relevant ads via Google AdMob
3. Data storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Pet photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
4. Third-party services
PawBesties uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Google Sign-In — optional authentication
- Apple Sign-In — optional authentication
- Google AdMob — advertising
- Google Firebase — push notifications
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third-party services as described above, or when required by law.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data

7. Children’s privacy
PawBesties is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
